Apple has located a limited hardware issue that affects the most recent MacBook Pro models that utilise function keys, according to an internal memo released last week.
The issue apparently means that if either the MacBook Pro’s main logic board or solid state drive experiences failures, then both must be replaced. Apple has not specified what percentage of units are at risk, or why both components fail in tandem.
Apple has seeded the 2nd beta for the approaching iOS 11.4.1 update, allowing developers to explore and evaluate any changes. This comes only two weeks after the launch of the first beta, which focused on improving performance and bug fixes, and it is expected that this beta attempts to do a similar thing, as no new features have been uncovered yet.
Apple has requested that its suppliers should manufacture 20% fewer components used to create the iPhones that will be released in the latter half of this year, suggesting that Apple may now be taking a cautious approach to iPhone shipments in 2018.

The new firm TF International Securities has released its first Apple-related research note, produced by the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. According to the well known analyst, Apple intends to utilise a “more agressive” pricing strategy with reference to the 3 rumored iPhone models thought to be for September 2018, hoping to boost shipments throughout the year.
