World Cup Content coming to Siri and Apple TV

With the World Cup 2018 fast approaching – kicking of on the 14th of June – Apple has introduced a Siri update with sports support, as well as featuring World Cup coverage on Apple TV and iOS devices, via FOX NOW in the USA, allowing fans to follow their favourite teams by utilising the TV app’s Up Next feature.

Additionally, Apple will highlight football related games such as FIFA Mobile and PES 2018, and apps such as FOX NOW and BBC sport, throughout the month. Siri’s update gives it the capability to answer World Cup related questions such as

  • What teams are in group A?
  • Who won the Iceland-Argentina match?
  • Who is on the England squad
  • When does Australia play France?
